We are pleased to announce the return of our annual Edinburgh Night, providing a musical snapshot of Scottish acts performing during the Fringe. Taking place at the Electric Circus on Sunday 4th August, it will feature ten-minute live shows every half hour, interspersed with DJs from the local music scene playing their favourite four tracks by Edinburgh artists.
The event will showcase a broad range of genres including the folk-tinged Admiral Fallow, rapper Nasty P and acoustic cello duo Jellyman's Daughter. They will be joined by Grand Laddie (Bart from Eagleowl with friends), A.J Roach, Randolph's Leap, Gastric Band and Donald Macdonald and the Islands. Additional acts will be announced this week.
Those spinning their favourite four tracks by acts from the capital include Alan Morrison (Sunday Herald), Roland Gulliver (Edinburgh International Book Festival), Barrie Henderson (Henderson's of Edinburgh), Lloyd Meredith (Olive Grove Records), Caroline Parkinson (Creative Scotland), Nicola Meighan (The List/The Herald) and George Robertson (Vox Box Records).
